The Four Gospel Journey for Radical Transformation
A universal and progressive practice for spiritual transformation
The series of Prayer and Reflection days on Alexander Shaia's book The Four Gospel Journey will continue in 2020. This year our reflections will commence with the third Quadrato - Gospel of John: Resting in John's Glorious Garden. This third path poses the question "How do we receive joy?" We will then move onto the fourth quadrato: "How do we mature in service?" In this time we will prayerfully consider the Gospel of Luke

A Centring Prayer Group
This group meets at the Gold Coast on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month. The foundation of our prayer and reflection is based on Thomas Keating's book Open Mind, Open Heart. In 2020, while continuing to use Thomas Keating's method of centring prayer we will reflectively consider Cynthia Bourgeault's book Centering Prayer and Inner Awakeing as the basis of our prayer time.
Centring prayer elicits a commitment to the goal of inner transformation. It suggests a practical method of entering our 'inner room' by deliberately letting go of external concerns symbolised by closing our eyes and conenting to the presence and action of God within.
